Truesdale's two aldermen up for re-election this year secured more than enough votes to stay in office for another two-year term.
Aldermen Mike Thomas and Joe Brooks were on the ballot in the April 5 elections, challenged by local resident Kelly Riehl. Of the 93 people voting, each selecting two candidates, Thomas received 74 votes, Brooks received 66, and Riehl received 25.
NOTE: These are unofficial election results. Final election canvassing and certification will be done on Friday.
