The Knights of Columbus will host a Journey for Charity Tractor Cruise this Sunday, Sep. 11, to benefit Warren and Franklin County food pantries. Service vehicles will be collecting donations of cash and canned goods all along the route.
The north route is a 30-mile cruise from Concord Hill to Augusta to Washington. The day will begin at 9:30 a.m. at St. Ignatius Church in Marthasville. From there, the cruise will begin, traveling through Charrette Bottom to Dutzow, continuing to Augusta, and finally arriving at the Washington Knights of Columbus Hall.
A barbecue and tractor show will follow the cruise from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Washington KC Hall. There will be tractors on display, a pedal tractor pull for children, and barbecue, beverages, hats and T-shirts available for purchase.
