The Warren County Sheriff’s Department took a Marthasville man into custody last week after he reportedly turned himself in for molesting two young children.
In an arrest report, the sheriff’s department said Charles B. Anderson, 70, came to the department’s offices Feb. 25 and confessed to inappropriately touching two children over a year ago.
The contact is alleged to have happened at Anderson’s home on Shawn Patrick Drive in Marthasville. It was discovered after the victims told an adult about it, the sheriff’s department said.
Anderson reportedly said he knew what he had done was wrong, and understood that he would go to jail.
Anderson is being held at the Warren County Jail without bond. He has a court hearing scheduled for March 11.
