Pamela Sue Michalak (nee: Clover) of Jonesburg passed away on Monday, Oct. 31, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was born on May 6, 1950, in St. Louis to the late Melvin Clover and Georgene Mischlispy (nee: Kerlick). Pam had reached the age of 72 years.

Pam is the beloved wife of Conrad "Kim" Michalak for 42 years. To this union, two sons were born, Matthew and Christopher.

Pam dedicated her entire life to her family. Whether it was covering every square inch of Missouri taking the boys to baseball games, helping with 4-H projects or cooking her family's favorite meals, being with her family is what Pam loved the most. Her summers off of school were filled with trips to the zoo, science center, Six Flags, and maybe even cashing in some of the vouchers for Pizza Hut pizzas that she had laying around. Pam was an elementary school teacher for 31 years. She always had a love for children and many kids were blessed to pass through her classroom doors over the years. Pam's great love for children is why becoming a grandma was one of her greatest accomplishments in her eyes. Even in her later years when her dementia was progressed, watching the grandkids run around and be crazy always put a smile on her face.

Pam treated everyone that came into her life as if they were one her own. She didn't have a mean bone in her body; as she always said, "I love everyone on earth and in heaven," one of the many Pam catchphrases. She also had a love for music, everything from Elvis, the Moody Blues, Christian, rock and country. Pam was blessed to live a full life in her short 72 years here on earth. She has made an enormous impact on the lives of so many people; she will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

Those that are grateful for having shared in Pam's life are her beloved husband, Kim Michalak; her loving children, Matthew (Andrea) Michalak and Christopher Michalak (Marci); cherished grandchildren, Holden King, Amaya Bose, Mason Michalak, Krista Michalak, Parker Michalak and Kylie Michalak; dear siblings, Beth (Joseph) Vincent, John (Lisa) Mischlispy and Kimberly (Rob) Bakker; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Pam is preceded in death by her parents, Melvin Clover and Georgene Mischlispy; stepfather, John Robert Mischlispy Sr.; and siblings, Darrol Clover, Nancy Mischlispy and James Mischlispy. She was a dear sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Visitation for Pam will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Nov. 8 with a funeral service immediately following at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton. Memorial donations are appreciated to the Veterans Memorial or the Alzheimer's Association, c/o Martin Funeral Home in honor of Pam. Online condolences may be made at www.martinfuneral.net.
