MoDOT to narrow eastbound I-70 lanes between Warrenton and Foristell

The Missouri Department of Transportation will begin narrowing eastbound Interstate 70 lanes in two locations between Warrenton and Foristell as a part of the Improve I-70 Warrenton to Wentzville Project.

MoDOT to narrow eastbound I-70 lanes between Warrenton and Foristell

The Missouri Department of Transportation will begin narrowing eastbound Interstate 70 lanes in two locations between Warrenton and Foristell as a part of the Improve I-70 Warrenton to Wentzville Project. All work is weather permitting and schedules are subject to change. 

Traffic impacts on eastbound I-70 will include the following:

  • Wright City to St. Charles County line (mile markers 200.8-203).
    • Starting April 17 through September: nightly lane closures from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
    • In non-working hours traffic will be shifted into narrower lanes with a barrier wall along the right shoulder
  • East of Route 47 to the Wright City Rest Area (mile markers 194.2-197.6)
    • Starting the week of April 28 through September: nightly lane closures from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m.
    • In non-working hours traffic will be shifted into narrower lanes with a barrier wall along the right shoulder. 
  • I-70 eastbound on-ramp at Wright City (Exit 200)
    • April 22-23: Nightly ramp closures from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m.
