A Marthasville juvenile, 17, was involved in a two-car accident in St. Charles County on March 15, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
He was driving with three other teenagers, two from Wentzville and one from Foristell, all 18.
The group was traveling east on Missouri Route DD around 3 p.m. on March 15 when the driver failed to maintain his lane as another vehicle was coming in the westbound lane.
They veered off the road to the right and struck a guardrail, according to the patrol.
When they returned to the road they began to lose control and spun out, then overturned.
The rear left of their vehicle struck the left side of another vehicle driven by an Augusta man, 21, according to the patrol.
The right side of the second vehicle then struck the guardrail on the other side of the road.
All four in the Marthasville juvenile’s vehicle sustained injuries. A Wentzville man and a Foristell man were seriously injured in the accident. Another passenger, a Wentzville woman, was moderately injured and the Marthasville juvenile sustained minor injuries.
All four were transported to hospitals with the Marthasville teen going to Barnes Jewish Children's Hospital while the rest were taken to Mercy Hospital St. Louis, all via ambulance.
The Augusta man did not report any injuries, according to the patrol.
None of the occupants in the Marthasville juvenile’s car were wearing their seat belts, according to the patrol.
