A Marthasville man was injured in a two-car accident traveling east on Route E on the evening of Friday, Aug. 16.
A New Haven juvenile, 16, was traveling east on Route E and turning left onto Route Y and did not see George Stanfill III, 38, cresting the hill ahead of him, and the two vehicles then collided head on according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Stanfill, 38, received minor injuries in the accident and was transported to Mercy Hospital Washington by the New Haven Ambulance District. The juvenile did not report any injuries.
Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts during the accident.
