A Marthasville man is facing additional criminal charges for stealing two motorcycles.
Cody Thome was charged last week with two felony counts of stealing after Warren County deputies were asked to respond by Franklin County deputies in reference to the stolen motorcycles.
Deputies reported Thome’s vehicle was observed on a license plate camera hauling a similar motorcycle as the one stolen in Franklin County. During a search of his cellphone and Facebook account, it was discovered that Thome sold the motorcycle for $2,500 on Nov. 18, 2023, according to the probable cause statement.
In December, Thome was charged with felony stealing among other charges. He also has prior convictions for burglary and theft out of Franklin County, according to deputies.
