To the Editor,
Congratulations to Frank Stanek as he was presented the GCMA Lifetime Achievement Award for playing old country music for nearly 70 years at the age of 94.
The event was held at the GCMA Spring Show at the Trigg Banquet Center in O’Fallon, MO, on Sunday, April 24. Many of Frank’s family attended, along with those attending the show. People were entertained by very good country music. A special thank you to the GCMA & to Rich Kelton who presented Frank with the award.
Frank plays music once a month at the Lions Club Hall in Warrenton. The next dance is scheduled for May 15. Listen to KWRE during the bingo game for upcoming dances.
If anyone would like to send Frank a card or letter, please send to: Frank Stanek, 204 Naomi, Truesdale MO 63380.
