The Boone's Lick Road Association will be at the Warren County Historical Society Museum on Saturday, Aug. 13, at 1 p.m. to share stories from along the road. The Boone's Lick Road is an important historical route that laid the foundation for the modern thoroughfares which connect the towns of east-central Missouri, including Warrenton!
Representatives of the Missouri Humanities Council and the Missouri State Historical Society are scheduled to speak at the event. This will be the association's final visit of the year to communities along the Boone's Lick Road.
A Boone's Lick Road informative display is also available at the historical society museum throughout August. The museum is located at 102 West Walton St. in Warrenton.
