Joshua Thomas Hobson of Hawk Point passed away on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2022. He was born on March 17, 1980, in St. Louis to James C. and Melissa (nee: Hobson) Springmeyer and Matthew E. Mohon.
Josh enjoyed riding four-wheelers, playing softball, baseball, fishing, and some golf. Most of all, he loved spending time with his son, Jace. He was a loving father, son, brother, nephew and friend to many.
Those that are grateful for having shared in Josh's life are his son, Jace Hobson; his parents, James and Melissa Springmeyer and Matthew Mohon; his siblings, Adam (Megan) Springmeyer, Justin (Samantha) Mohon and Jonathan Mohon; his nephews, Benjamin Springmeyer, Jayden Mohon and Jaxton Mohon; many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his brother, Aaron Hobson; and his grandparents, Ray and Evelyn Hobson and Ray (Bud) and Nina Mohon.
Visitation for Josh will be held from from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 6 at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton. Funeral services will be held the following day, Friday, Oct. 7 at 10 a.m., also at the funeral home. Memorial donations are appreciated to St. Jude Children's Hospital in c/o Martin Funeral Home.
