A Jonesburg-area man was seriously injured last week in a crash on Highway 100 in Franklin County, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.

Darrel A. Dinger, 36, was airlifted to Barnes Jewish Hospital after the crash, which happened around 4:20 p.m. on Dec. 23, according to a highway patrol crash report.

Dinger reportedly drove off the right side of the road in a 1998 GMC Jimmy.  The vehicle hit a culvert and became airborne, then overturned, according to the crash report. Dinger was wearing a seat belt.

The highway patrol did not report what may have caused the crash.
