Jeffrey Wayne Hamlett, 54, of Troy, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021, in Troy, Missouri. Jeffrey was born on June 23, 1967, in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Jerry Lynn and Judy Marie (Drago) Hamlett.
Jeffrey attended Warrenton High School. He worked in construction for many years as a cement and brick laborer and most recently at Lowes as a Pro-Loader. Jeffrey spent many hours on his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. He liked fishing, race cars, flying drones, and racing remote control cars.
Jeffrey was an amazing son, brother, and uncle. He was very straightforward and would give the shirt off his back if needed. Jeffrey had a pure heart and was always there for others.
He is survived by his mother, Judy Montgomery and husband Jim of Troy, MO; his father, Jerry Lynn Hamlett, Sr. and wife Laura of Eolia, MO; one brother, Jerry Lynn Hamlett, Jr. of Hawk Point, MO; nieces and nephews: Tyson, Kyle, Marissa, Trey, and Trent; aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, paternal grandparents, one step-sister, Jamie Montgomery, one nephew, Travis, and his dog, Q-Ball.
Family and friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 27, 2021, at KEMPER-KEIM Family Funeral Chapel located at 351 Monroe Street Troy, MO 63379. Celebration of life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 27, 2021, at KEMPER-KEIM Family Funeral Chapel in Troy, Missouri.
