Jack Bernard Plaggenberg

Mr. Jackie Bernard Plaggenberg of Warrenton passed away on Friday, Aug. 19, 2022, at St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City. He was born on May 25, 1959, in Troy, MO, to the late Lawrence and Lorraine (nee: Nix) Plaggenberg. Jack had reached the age of 63 years.

Jack was a woodworker, a job he thoroughly enjoyed and did for many years. He was also a talented musician who played in several local bands throughout the years. He played the bass guitar and sang. He also played other instruments and recorded his own songs. Jack enjoyed working out in his yard and had a knack for gardening and growing tomatoes. Jack was a family man and enjoyed every moment spent with his children and grandchildren.

Jack Plaggenberg was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Lorraine; and five sisters, LaVada Gerdeman, Linda Hoelscher, Lailoni Hollaway, Lauren Corder and Lotus Muttert. Those who are grateful for the time spent with Jack are his three children, Angie McPheeters and husband Randy, Joey Plaggenberg and wife Rachel, and Rachael Plaggenberg and husband Zac Menteer; three grandchildren, Gracie, Kassie and Lorraine; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation for Mr. Plaggenberg will be held on Friday, Aug. 26 from 10 a.m. to noon at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton. Funeral services will follow at noon, and committal service will be held at the Warrenton City Cemetery immediately after the funeral service.
