Iva J. Hutchison passed away peacefully on Oct. 10, 2022, at the age of 91. She was born on March 2, 1932, to Herman and Mary J. (Preul) Schaper in Wright City.
Iva was a wonderful and much-loved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a faithful Christian and lifelong member of Union United Methodist Church in Wright City. She also found comfort in the congregations of Harmonie Church and United Church of Christ in Wright City.
Iva was preceded in death by her husband Merlin "Huck" Hutchison; brothers, Homer (Frances) Schaper, Leerie (Lenora) Schaper, David (Bernice) Schaper and Calvin (Lucille) Schaper; sisters, Carleen (Raymond) Koehler, Iris Schaper and Helen (Lowell) Sprick; and brother-in-law, Larry Luecke.
She is survived by her daughter, Janie Hutchison Arnold and son-in-law, Charles "Andy" Arnold; grandchildren, Travis (Tegan) Arnold, Jennifer (Richie) Hees, Andrew (Sydney) Arnold and Clayton Arnold; great-grandchildren, Blake Hees, Preston Hees, Hunter Hees, and Peyton Arnold; sister-in-law, Gail Luecke; and many nieces and nephews.
Iva is missed immeasurably, but we find comfort knowing that she is at peace and reunited with those who have gone before her.
Iva will be laid to rest at Wright City Cemetery. Services will be private. Memorials may be made to Immanuel U.C.C of Wright City, in care of Pitman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 126 Warrenton, MO 63383.
