The Woofstock Festival celebrating dogs and all the services that care for them was held Aug. 27 at Diekroeger Park in Wright City. The festival featured wiener dog races, canine training demonstrations, dog obstacle course, costume contest, dog microchipping, and dog-oriented vendor booths.
The annual Woofstock Festival is organized by Wags & Whiskers, a nonprofit group that is planning construction of a full-service animal rescue shelter at Innsbrook.
