First State Community Bank sponsored the halftime field goal challenge at Warrenton’s home game on Sept. 27. The Warrenton cheerleading squad threw out mini footballs to the stands and only three of them had a colored print. Whoever had the special ball had the opportunity to take a 30-yard field goal. If a contestant made the field goal, they were awarded $500. Ryan Calbreath, Ryder Augusta and Zachary Lynch all had the chance to kick a field goal. However, all three contestants missed, but still left with $100. In addition, FSCB gave the Warren County R-III School District $1,000.
