Mrs. Elsie Marie (nee: Wilson) Bryant, of Warrenton, MO, passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at the age of 81 years. She was born on December 6, 1940, in St. Louis, MO, to the late George and Trellis (nee: Evans) Wilson.
Elsie was united in marriage to Robert "Butch" Bryant Sr., on July 13, 1957, in St. Louis. They celebrated 58 wonderful years together before his passing in 2015. To this union four children were born, Michael, Terri, Robert, and Donald. Elsie was a faithful member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Warren County. She enjoyed Bingo, bowling, and playing card games with her friends. Her true joy came from spending time with her grandchildren and going to their various events and activities. Elsie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
Elsie Bryant was preceded in death by her loving husband, Butch; her parents, George and Trellis; one daughter-in-law, Donita Bryant; four siblings, Leroy Wilson, George Wilson, Ralph Wilson, Jean Bigham. Those who will remain grateful for having shared in Elsie's life are her children, Michael Bryant and wife Valeria, Terri Ogle and husband Jim, Robert Bryant Jr., Donald Bryant and wife Terri; six grandchildren, Jeremy Secor (Heather), Ricky Secor (Ashley), Alexandra Ogle, Jamieson Ogle (Kassidy), Aubrey Bryant, Ashley Bryant; six great-grandchildren, Eleanor, Hattie, Opal, Dylan, Arlo, Destiny; two siblings, Dennis Wilson, Patsy Cavin; one brother-in-law, David Bryant and wife Carolyn; other relatives, and many friends.
A Celebration of Elsie's life will be held on Friday, January 28, 2022, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton. Funeral services will also be held on Friday, January 28, 2022, at 12:00 PM.
