Doris Roberts passed away on Nov. 11, 2022, at St. Joseph Hospital West surronded by her loving family at the age of 89. Doris was born March 28, 1933, in East Prairie, MO, to the late Arthur and Ollie Wamble nee Hooker.
She is survived by her loving husband, Carl Roberts of Wright City; three children, Carla (Dan) Ramey of Wright City, Pastor Terry (Becky) Roberts of Wentzville and Debbie (Pastor Joe) Bleile of Wright City; brother, Marvin (Jackie) Wamble of Bertrand, MO; nine grandchildren, Scott, Kevin, Lance, Jonathan, Jessica, Chad, Justin, Jacob and Tiffany; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father, Arthur Wamble; mother, Ollie Wamble; brother, William Wamble; and great-grandson, Kody Ramey.
Doris was united in marriage to Carl on April 9, 1951, and they celebrated 71 and a half years together. Doris enjoyed sewing and reading her Bible, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Doris was member of Faith Christian Family Church. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Nov. 16 from 4-8 p.m. at Faith Christian Family Church, Warrenton. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov. 17 at 11 a.m., also at the church.
