Mr. Donald Lewis Marshall of Wright City passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022. He was born on September 16, 1943, in St. Louis to the late William and Myra Marshall (nee: Lamb). Don had reached the age of 78.
Don was united in marriage to June West in 1998 and shared 24 wonderful years together. He is the loving father of Jen, Jon and Mike. Don proudly served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years. He enjoyed woodworking and was very skilled in his craft; he could make just about anything out of wood. Don enjoyed drawing, singing, and playing his guitar and ukulele. He later spent time as a volunteer weatherman and enjoyed his time spent with his Yorkie, Crocky. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
Those that are grateful for having shared in Don's life are his children, Jen (Donnie) Routt, Jon (Amy) Marshall and Mike (Amanda) Lukis; his grandchildren, Jonathan Routt, Jordan Adams, Michael Lukis, and Samuel Lukis; and his siblings, Jeannie Leibech and Greg Marshall (Sheri Steininger). Don is preceded in death by his beloved first wife, Mary Elizabeth Schmitt; his parents, William and Myra Marshall; and one brother, William Champ Marshall. He was a dear uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
A memorial will be held for Don on Monday, August 1, 2022, from 10 a.m. to noon with a memorial service to immediately follow at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton.
