A Wright City-area woman was taken to the hospital on April 7 after a crash that left her with serious injuries, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.
Julie D. Sanders, 49, was injured while driving southward on Highway J about 3 miles north of Wright City, according to a highway patrol crash report. Sanders was driving a 2016 Nissan Rogue at around 9:45 a.m. She reportedly failed to negotiate a curve in the road and then overcorrected, the highway patrol said. The Nissan traveled off the left side of the road, struck a fence and overturned.
The highway patrol stated Sanders was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. She was transported to St. Joseph West Hospital for treatment.
