Mr. Charles Eugene McRoberts III of Wright City passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2022, at the age of 24. Chuck was born on November 21, 1997, to Charles Jr. and Chastity (nee: Sylcox) McRoberts in Lake St. Louis, MO.
Chuck was devoted to his family. He attended Wright City High School, where he graduated in 2017. When he was younger, he enjoyed playing football with the Warrenton Little League and Wright City High School. Chuck loved to play video games and listen to music on his headphones. He also enjoyed hanging out with his family and playing volleyball every day with them. He loved spending time with his siblings and cousins. Chuck was a very loving and caring son, brother, cousin and friend.
Charles McRoberts III was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clifton and Kathleen Mozee; one brother, Devan Jones; great-grandparents, Daisy Brandt, Oma and Elmer Sylcox, Grace Mozee, Grace and Pete McRoberts; cousin, DeVante Ware; and uncles, Von Brandt, Lee Sylcox and aunts Joyce Sylcox, Judy McRoberts, Marian Cruise. Those family members who will remain grateful for having shared in Chuck's life are his loving parents, Charles Jr. and Chastity; three siblings, James Jones, Maurice Jones and Taylor McRoberts; brothers, Delante Blanks, Derico Blanks and Derenzo Blanks; grandparents, Helen Jones and Charles McRoberts Sr.; aunts and uncles, Christy Mozee-Blanks (Cornelius Blanks), Dawn Durham, Taketha Brandt, Leonard Brandt, Toi Jones, and Tyra McRoberts; one nephew, Major Jones; several cousins; other relatives and many friends.
A Celebration of Life visitation for Charles McRoberts III will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022, from 10 a.m. to noon at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton.
