A Wright City man is facing multiple felony charges stemming from sexual contact with a teenage girl spanning from September 2016 to July 2018.
Wayne McRoberts, of the 17000 block of Orchard Farm Circle, was charged May 8 with three county of statutory sodomy, two counts of statutory rape and two counts of child molestation. A warrant was issued for McRoberts on the same day charges were filed.
The female victim, who was around 14 at the time of the first sexual contact, told a detective that the incidents occurred at several mobile homes in the Orchard Farm Trailer Park, according to a probable cause statement. The victim is now 21.
McRoberts has previous convictions for sex offenses involving a child, according to the probable cause statement.
