Betty L. Reinhardt, 87, of Hermann passed away on Monday, Sept. 5, 2022, at Aspire Health & Rehab in Jonesburg.
Betty was born in Hermann, MO, on May 23, 1935, the daughter of the late William C. & Viola C. (Vollertsen) Rohlfing. She was united in marriage to Darrell E. Reinhardt on September 25, 1954, in East St. Louis, IL.
She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Hermann, Gore Case Community Club, and she was the secretary for the Loutre Island Cemetery for over 27 years. She worked as an Assistant Librarian in the Benton School in St. Charles, MO, for 20-plus years. She also work for the Gasconade County R-1 School District from 1985 until she retired in 1996. Betty enjoyed reading, gardening, working in her flower garden and mowing the grass.
Betty is survived by her husband, Darrell E. Reinhardt, of Hermann; a son, Michael Reinhardt, and wife, Charlotte, of St. Charles; a daughter, Lisa Redfern, and husband, Bob, of Hermann; a brother, Gary Rohlfing, and wife, Kathy, of Big Spring; two grandchildren, Aaron Reinhardt and wife, Elisa, of Columbia and Aimee Fancher and husband, Carl, of St. Peters, and by three great-grandchildren Hannah, Hailey, and Hayden Fancher.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Sept. 7 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where funeral services immediately followed. Burial will be at Loutre Island Cemetery in McKittrick, MO. Family requests donations to Loutre Island Cemetery or St. Paul United Church of Christ.
