Vivian Pauline Shaw

Ms. Vivian Pauline Shaw (nee: Brown) of Warrenton, MO, passed away on Monday, May 31, 2021, at her home. She was born on September 19, 1929, in Imboden, AR, to the late Carlos and Lilly (nee: Kling) Brown. Vivian had reached the age of 91 years.

Vivian was a member of the Church of Christ. Her greatest joy in life came from her family. She loved every minute she spent with her family, kids grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was very proud of her home that she bought in 1983 and surrounded herself with photos of all her family members. Another of her favorite things was reading. She enjoyed reading a variety of books, including history, biographies, and fiction. She also had a subscription to "Reader's Digest" for many years. One of her favorite authors was Max Lucado. Vivian was also known as the "Queen of Rummikub" and enjoyed playing until a week ago. She also liked to play scrabble with her family. Vivian was a very loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend.

Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, Carlos and Lilly; one son Theodore "Les" Shaw III; one brother, Alford Wayne Brown, and his wife Della Pearline Brown. Those who are grateful for having shared in Vivian's life are her five children, Tamara Gossett, Darcy Carmody and husband Kevin, Steve Shaw and wife Sue, Bruce Shaw and wife Lynn, Linda Marler and husband Rocky; 17 grandchildren, Leslie Piotrasche, Ryan Shaw and wife Joya, Lindsey Stockmann and husband Chris, April Deters and husband Bill, Meghan Branham, Justin Shaw, and wife Candice, Dane Shaw and wife Julie, Rachel Stallcup and husband Matt, Ashley Mathena and husband Kip, Jennifer Linds and husband Shawn, Brady Smith and wife Lauren, Jessica Schanuel and husband Greg, Erin Reese and husband Kevin, Jeff Ebert and wife Melissa, Sarah Daum and husband Dustin, Amy Passler and husband Matt, Christina Goette and husband Brody; 31 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; one brother Carlos Brown Jr. and wife Dolores; one daughter in law, Luella Shaw; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

A Visitation for Ms. Vivian Shaw will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021, 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 p.m, also at the funeral home.
