To The Editor:

In response to panhandlers as published in the Warren County Record Aug. 30, I am one of those people (God forgive) that feel good about helping someone in need. I do remember reading somewhere “For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink.” Should we just let them starve? If someone is to take advantage of me I can live with it.

I did go to petition.moveon.com as suggested and found that most of the “Hot Topics” were anti-Trump or anti-Kavanaugh. I suppose I expected this because it was moveon.com. For those who do not keep up with politics or subversion in the United States, moveon.com is a website supported by billionaire George Soros and if anyone who recognizes this name knows he would love nothing more than for the U.S. to become a Socialist/Communist state. In my mind I view this as a hoax to get people to go to moveon.com.

I suppose if panhandling is such a nuisance then how about petitioners? Are they not a nuisance also? I believe what is good for one should be good for all. Therefore I submit to Warrenton Mayor Eric Schlueter that he should not even consider this petition as a petition but as a nuisance.
