The Missouri State Fair will be held Aug. 10-20 in Sedalia.
“The Missouri State Fair plays a critical role in promoting agriculture and showcasing the best of our great state,” said Missouri Lt. Gov.Mike Parson. “I have been a longtime advocate for the State Fair, which draws over 350,000 visitors each year.”
The State Fair began in 1901 and highlights Missouri’s agriculture industry along with Missouri companies and products. It also plays host to carnival rides, dozens of agriculture exhibits and quality entertainment shows.
This year Alan Jackson, Little Big Town and The Charlie Daniels Band will perform.
“I highly encourage all Missourians to join us in Sedalia to take part in quality entertainment, fine Missouri products and learn more about our No. 1 agriculture industry,” Parson said.
