A crash at the intersection of Highway 47 and Highway M in Warrenton injured three people Wednesday, Nov. 7, according to the Warren County Ambulance District.

A representative of the ambulance district said three women were transported to area hospitals with injuries ranging from minor to moderate.

The crash occurred around 2 p.m. when an SUV and a sedan collided in the center of the Highway 47/Highway M intersection. Two people in the SUV and one in the sedan were hurt. The names of the patients have not been released.

Firefighters at the scene had to cut off a door and the central door frame of the SUV in order to safely remove one patient.

A detailed incident report from Warrenton police is not yet available.
