Penmac Education Staffing, which has provide substitute services to Wright City R-II and Warren County R-III schools since 2017, has two trainings scheduled to prepare substitutes for the upcoming school year.

Anyone interested in substituting for the 2019-2020 school year should attend one of the following Sub 101 training sessions:

• Monday, July 29, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Wright City East Elementary Library; and

• Thursday, Aug. 1, 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Warren County District Office Board Room.

All new and former substitutes must attend at least one of the annual Sub 101 training sessions. Anyone interested in substituting, but not able to attend either of these sessions, may contact Penmac Area Manager Dawn Wiegers at

Attendees do not have to bring anything to the training, all items will be provided. Come ready to learn, and have the chance to win a great door prize! No RSVPs are necessary.

Those who are interested in subbing for Wright City R-II or Warren County R-III Schools should apply with Penmac Staffing. Candidates can call 636-243-8900 for more information, or visit to apply. A Missouri substitute certificate is required.

All substitute teachers are eligible for Penmac’s health insurance; full-time substitutes will also qualify for retirement benefits. Penmac Education Staffing uses Frontline Absence Management (formerly Aesop), an online substitute management program that allows substitute teachers to specify availability, set assignment preferences, and communicate with classroom teachers.
