The sixth annual shred event is 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, June 15, at Holy Rosary, 716 E. Booneslick Road, Warrenton.

The event, hosted by Cindy J. Burke, LLC., benefits the St. Vincent de Paul Society. The organization will receive a $5 donation for each bag or box that is donated.

“We ask that people bring any confidential documents that they no longer need so that they can be disposed of properly that day right in front of them. This ensures their information is kept private by destroying those documents on site,” said Sydney Heggemann, a client service associate with Cindy J. Burke, LLC.

She said people from all over Warren County, as well as neighboring counties, are welcome to participate and donate.

While donations are appreciated, they are not required to participate.

This is the company’s sixth year coordinating the annual shred event supporting the St. Vincent de Paul Society.

“They assist approximately 10 families a week in physical need in Warren County by raising funds through an annual rummage sale as well as donations throughout the year. (They) stock a food pantry, also through donations, which is disbursed to the needy,” said Heggemann.
