PRESENTING COLORS

Members of the Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Venture Scouts of Troop 359 present colors during the 2018 Memorial Day Service at Daniel Boone Post 180 near Marthasville.

American Legion Daniel Boone Post 180 will honor the memory, sacrifice and service of those who served in the United States Armed Forces on Memorial Day, Monday,

May 27.

The service will begin at 11 a.m. and conclude with a fellowship

meal.

The meat and drink will be provided. All are invited to bring a dish to share.

The memorial service will include prayers for those who have served and those still

serving today in the nation’s military, for their families, and for the nation.

There will be a message by the Rev. Don Deeker, a reading of the names of deceased

veterans who were members of Post 180, and military honors with a gun salute and taps.

As a grateful nation for those who have served so honorably, all are invited to attend the service as an expression of our gratitude and remembrance.

Anyone with tattered and worn out U.S. flags are welcome to bring them that day so they can be properly disposed.
