A Marthasville-area teen and two others were taken to the hospital Monday, April 15, after a two-vehicle crash in St. Charles County.

Tyler D. Null, 18, Marthasville, had moderate injuries and was taken to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital in Lake St. Louis, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

A passenger in the vehicle with Null, Charlotte A. Herman, 17, St. Charles, also had moderate injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital St. Louis, the patrol said.

The driver of a second vehicle, Melissa L. Strickland, 46, St. Peters, was taken to SSM Health St. Joseph with moderate injuries.

A preliminary highway patrol crash report states Null was driving a Ford F150 westbound on Highway 94 in Weldon Spring when the crash occurred at 2:47 p.m. A Nissan Maxima driven by Strickland allegedly pulled into the path of the Ford while attempting to cross the highway, and the fronts of the two vehicles collided.

All three of those injured were wearing seat belts, the patrol said.
